This Is Us is a breath of fresh air in the genre of Family Drama managing to stay away from all the usual cringe through its exceptional script and innovative storytelling.

The show starts with an incredible roller-coaster pilot and steadily tightens its grip on your emotions.

The series follows the lives and families of two parents, and their triplets, in several different time frames. Each progressing episode unveils new perspectives in characters’ lives with some very apt soundtracks serving as embellishments. The family is not perfect and these imperfections are what make this show so relatable and wholesome. In addition to this, Milo Ventimiglia’s role as Jack Pearson (Father) is incredible.

The show is a real tear-jerking journey and a must watch. Just start with the pilot to get hooked!
