Antim makes Salman the bait to give you Aayush instead. And this trade is only good. Though typical, this film is still better than Salman’s last few. With the peculiar Manjrekar style, pulsating BGM by Ravi Basrur & Aayush’s commendable performance, Antim is that action-packed entertainer which Bhai fans & the mass will enjoy!

Antim is the official remake of the Marathi hit film, ‘Mulshi Pattern’ and revolves around the life of a farmer’s son played by Aayush Sharma who turns into a gangster owing to circumstances post losing their own family land. This gangster has a heart and only goes against the ones who have harassed the farmers. On the other hand, Salman Khan plays a cameo in his own film of a Cop who is law-abiding, calm, and composed. Unlike Salman’s other cop roles, this one uses the brain first and muscles later. Salman Khan has definitely had a strategy of re-launching Aayush’s career in the SRK way by making him the likable anti-hero protagonist while he takes the back seat.

Antim is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and gets a lot of its soul from Vastav. With his peculiar style of direction and a lot of slowly brewed action, Antim has a lot of potential to appeal to the mass. Though Salman isn’t the protagonist, he has been given enough room to keep the Bhai fans drooling. But the star of the show this time is Aayush Sharma. He has genuinely worked hard and brushed up his acting skills for the part. His performance sure deserves appreciation.

What makes Antim even more engrossing is the pulsating BGM by Ravi Basrur who has also scored music for KGF. It adds up and takes the story to another level. The action choreography is great and also well shot with new techniques and sequences. The editing is great as well.

On the whole, Antim is definitely an entertaining power-packed action movie which the mass and others will enjoy equally. It has its downside yet it is better than the past few Salman movies. Antim is screening in cinemas near you.
