Breaking Bad
Breaking Bad excels in all fields that you can think of. Brilliant story and screenplay, excellent cinematography, direction, and a great cast.
Wanting to watch this for a while, I finally got some time, owing to the lockdown to go through the genre of crime-drama and watch this amazing series! While Breaking Bad needs no review of any sort, this piece is just an outlet to show how much I loved the show.
Walter White is a modest, middle-aged, overly qualified high school chemistry teacher who lives with his pregnant wife and his 15-year-old son. One sudden day, he is diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer which eventually means that he won’t live for long. With an aim to secure the future of his family, he partners with his former student, Jesse, a drug dealer, to manufacture and sell methamphetamine (crystal meth). Walter uses his exceptional chemistry skills to synthesize meth and goes on to earn and rise through the ranks in the dangerous criminal world but continues to struggle with his personal life.
There are multiple twists and several instances where you will be absolutely thrilled. The show will definitely keep you engrossed and force you to watch it non-stop. It has exceptionally portrayed how one can go to any limits for the benefit of one’s family. It also sheds light on the illicit activities going on and how it engulfs one making it difficult to break chains from such negative forces.
Breaking Bad excels in all fields that you can think of. Brilliant story and screenplay, excellent cinematography, direction, and a great cast. Though the pace of the first few episodes is a bit slow, but, as the story progresses, you definitely won’t turn your eyes away from the screen. The 4th and 5th seasons were exceptional and flawless. Breaking Bad will definitely go as one of the finest series I’ve ever watched.
The series consists of 5 seasons totaling to 62 episodes and is streaming on Netflix.
