LOL – Hasse toh Phasse

Platform - Amazon Prime Video Release Date - 30th April 2021 Review By - Pratik Rathi Tag - Latest Reviews Category - Web Series Reviews

This mini-series with 6 episodes of 20-25 minutes each totaling to roughly 2.5 hours is the most random comedy reality show you’ll see out there on the internet.

10 of India’s best comedians are locked in a house and all they have to do is not laugh. They are trying hard to make another laugh by cracking PJs, doing lame acts, and other such stuff. The best part is you are seeing improvisation and impromptu act coming from such big names.

There are no rules apart from this. The host and judges, Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani make the rules as per their sheer will on the spot. No point system/game rules are really explained. This makes the show a little unsynchronized. They say it is unscripted, which it is not and which is why it could have been scripted better with a formal map and it could have taken a little more time to brew. However, it is fun anyway.

There are ample sexual, corny, and adult jokes in the series. Hence, it is not advisable to watch this with your kids or family. It is rated 18+. Also, in times like these, if you want to brighten up your mood by seeing something light and quick, this will be a good watch.  Also, look out for Sunil Grover, Gaurav Gera, and Aadar Malik’s constant goofiness.
