TVS’s immensely popular YouTube series ‘Kota Factory’ renews for another season and this time it is bankrolled by Netflix. Continuing the plot of its predecessor, this season showcases the 2nd Year of the preparations for JEE.

Vaibhav & friends continue to juggle with studies, romance, and life while new complications and heavier sides are unfolding simultaneously. This season also parallelly focuses on the politics of the Coaching Classes in Kota as Jeetu Bhaiya starts out with a coaching class of his own.

The pace and mood of this season are very much the same as of the 1^st. The actors have picked off well from where they left. Mayur More, Ranjan Raj & Alam Khan’s trio remains a fun watch. Ahsaas Channa and Revathi’s little bit also remains memorable. But more than anything and anyone else, two things that stand out the most are Jeetendra Kumar’s acting and his insightful and motivating dialogues. Writer Saurabh Khanna, an IITian himself has done a fantastic job with the dialogues and this show will definitely work as an edutainment material for IIT aspirants.

While the series is extremely accurate in terms of technicalities and portraying the ground-level reality of the life of Students in Kota, a lot of aspects in the plot are written for the sake of convenience. For instance, the bond Vaibhav shares with his friends is unreal at times. However, this is hardly a downside. 

On the whole, as much as a bible Kota Factory is for IIT aspirants and as much as it is relatable for the engineers, it is also an enjoyable watch for others as it has a good blend of humor, drama, high-school romance, and emotions.
