Schitt’s Creek

Imagine if tomorrow you lose everything you own starting from your house to several other personal belongings, how bad it would be!

The story revolves around a really affluent family losing all their money and having to shift to a small town called “Schitt’s Creek”. This town is nothing compared to their previous house and absolutely outside their comfort zone, but it has a lot to teach the four of them. At first, I thought they’d be greedy and snooty throughout, but this show taught me what character progression is.

Alexis and David (the adult children) have shown the impeccable capability to adjust, move on and take matters in their own hands. They’re the ants you read poems about. They’ll fall seven times but stand up eight. Moira and John (the parents) have been shown to get habitual to the company of the town’s citizens and eventually become a part of them, getting involved in quite many things themselves.

A show which shows you what ‘not giving up’, ‘baby steps’ and ‘hanging in there’ means.

The real and reel father-son duo Eugene and Daniel Levy have created this show and acted in it. My personal favorite is Alexis Rose played by Annie Murphy! Other characters of the town have been able to contribute to the reel Rose family’s journey so positively.

Trust me, this show is life lessons plus humor. It has my heart and I am sure you’ll end up giving it your heart too!!!
