The Harshad Mehta story which has laid the foundations of what the stock market is today needs to be seen by everyone.

A lot has already been said about this show and every bit of it is cent percent true. If you haven’t watched this series so far, you absolutely should start it right away.

A lot of people aren’t streaming this assuming that it will be a very technical and hard watch as it is all about some complicated financial scam that happened way back in 1992, an outdated period now. However, let me tell you that the writers and directors have done such a fantastic job in explaining the whole scam in such an easy manner that even a lay person who isn’t acquainted with even the basics of the stock market will understand things simply.

This series is perfect in every sense. The writing is stupendous. The screenplay is smooth and very edgy. It will hook you and make you want to finish the entire series in a binge session. The dialogues are already making a lot of noise. They are relatable, quirky, and absolutely whistle-worthy. Having said this, they never lose practicality and authenticity. The performances are beyond brilliant. Pratik Gandhi and Shreya Dhanwanthary are fabulous with their part. Absolutely under the skin and they have been directed so well. Special praise for – Rajat Kapoor and Hemant Kher.

Apart from the aforementioned, the film has been shot fabulously and very artistically. The art and production design look so authentic and genuine. The BSE, streets of Bombay, the cars, the offices, the costumes…and everything. Every little detail has been sincerely executed. Also, what stood out for me was the amazing BGM. Especially look out for these two tracks by Kabir Cafe: “Do Din Ki Zindagi, Do Din Ka Mela” and “Mat Kar Maya Ko Ahankar”.
